We're moving to A5ia. The particular part where we'll be living has a large yak population. The KT people there are yak heardsman and make a good chunk of their living off of it.

Similar to the native Americans fluffy buffalo, the "KT" use every single part of the yak. From the milk to the meat. We had the opportunity to drink yak butter tea, eat yak meat, have small amounts of yak cheese and downed yak yogurt every morning for breakfast. Its not ALL bad. The butter tea is DEFINITELY an aquired taste...but the rest of it is pretty "normal".
