Well we landed exactly one week ago. It has been interesting getting over jet-lag and the change in altitude. XN is at 8,000 feet. The altitude really kicks in when you live on the 5th floor of your apartment building!!! We have been meeting with our Ch!nese tutor 2 hours everyday and will continue meeting with him until class starts in September. We have seen a lot of funny things here in XN including this bamboo warrior. Who was apparently guarding the womans t-shirts, bamboo boxes, and the very rare giant ladybug. Good times. We love you all!!!
