Booty shakin' and LOTS of tears...

Earlier today, I (shelli) posted on facebook these words:

"Looks like Justin and I will be having a dance party at our house all day. The car shop below us is BLASTING loud club music. So, come on by if you want to shake your booty!"

That sent me into a dance / praise the Lord sort of mood, and off I went down memory lane and watched the movie staring Richard Gere called "King David".

If you've seen that movie, you'll recall one particular scene referencing 2 Samuel 6:1-15 where David lept and danced merrily before the ark of the Lord. David used his new enthronement of the Kingship to welcome back the Ark which had been away from Jerusalem for sometime. This royal man chosen specifically from the Lord stripped down to his skivies and danced with all his might before the Lord.

and, I must say...I CRIED LIKE A BABY! I don't remember crying like that the first time I watched that movie. Actually...I recall me and my sister laughing at it. But this time, it struck a chord in me.

THEN...to make matters worst / better, I listened to "Easter Song" by Keith Green. OH MAN!!!!!!!! The flood gates were definitely opened then. I cried and cried and cried some more.

Plus, before any of this stuff even began, I had been reading a book about mothers who have given their babies up for adoption and then watched "Gotcha Day" videos on You Tube showing families receiving their babies for the first time.

OH MY!

What a day of crying, praising the Lord and more crying.

OH, but it was SO good!
