"And...so, what did you LEARN from that experience?":

Anyone who has a "teachable spirit" (aka: a willingness to learn from others and experiences in case you don't speak Chr1stianese) should, surely by the age of 32, realize that every bad thing usually comes paired with a lesson in truth.

Well, this week has been a college course full of lessons then.

Here is what I (Shelli) have learned this week, so that you can share in it:

1. FACT: Stomach bugs are a lot easier to handle when shared by other people at the same time who can completely empathize and compare puke stories.

2. Truth is only completely realized through utter dependance on G0d. When you slip away for just a second, lies start creeping in and the truth starts to look fuzzy. But then, HIS still small voice beckons you back. AND, the L0rd is the only one who will eternally reveal and SPEAK truths. Others will sometimes fail you and speak lies. But HE is truth! And you can lean on it.

3. If you can't say anything nice, shut your pie hole!

4. Trust is not 100% possible with humans. Period. Some (actually most in my circle) can offer 99.99999999%, but sometimes that little small amount of a failure possibility sneaks in and knocks you on your rear.

5. Humble pie tastes like dirt, but is really good for your health.

6. Some people self proclaim themselves as "fixers". Yet, 9 times out of 10 they only really offer bandaids.

Ok, that is all for now folks. Hope you can also glean some knowledge from these lessons I've re-learned this week.

"Life is a box of chocolates...you never know which ones are gonna taste like humble pie".
